History
I have worked in clinical settings with children, adolescents, and families since 1995. I have trained and worked in hospital, residential, group-home, university, emergency room, and outpatient settings. I have specialized training in conducting psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and their families
Specialties
My practice integrates a range of treatment approaches well-grounded in research to help children, adolescents, and their families attempt to solve their problems. I work collaboratively with children and adolescents to meet developmental tasks such as building trusting, empathic, and collaborative relationships; learning how to tolerate and effectively cope with negative emotions such as fear, anger and sadness; taking the initiative to capably face challenges and actively seek help when needed; and discovering and developing identity.
