Metal Container Corporation produces more than 25 billion cans and 28 billion lids annually. MCC operates eight can and three lid manufacturing facilities. It supplies approximately 63 percent of Anheuser-Busch Companies' can and 75 percent of its lid requirements and is a significant supplier to the United States soft drink container market. Metal Container Corporation maintains a location in Fort Atkinson, Wis., and is one of several companies owned or operated by Anheuser-Busch Companies, a publicly traded company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Anheuser-Busch is one of the leading American brewers. It maintains nearly half of the market share for United States beer sales, including the Budweiser and Bud Light brands.
