Specialties
Internal Medicine Associates, S.C. is a well established and highly respected Primary Care Practice, having served the Chicago area northwest suburbs since 1984. We are Board Certified specialists in Internal Medicine, providing comprehensive office based general medical care for patients age sixteen and older. As Internists, we have been extensively trained in the diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of virtually all of the medical conditions that commonly occur from late adolescence through the geriatric years. Our clinical expertise includes the ability to promptly diagnose and treat acute medical illness, as well as direct the long term management of recurrent and chronic medical problems such as asthma, congestive heart failure and diabetes. In addition, we are strong advocates and practitioners of preventive health care, offering our patients the latest recommendations regarding risk factor modification, cancer detection and immunization. Our first priority is the early identification and aggressive treatment of asymptomatic risks factors such as hypertension, high cholesterol and elevated blood sugar, before they lead to devastating illness and disability. We are equally committed to educating, screening and referring our patients for the early detection of curable malignancies such as breast, cervical, colon and prostate cancer, and offer all of the latest immunization protocols per current Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines.
