Herrin High School
Herrin High School operates under Herrin Consolidated School District 4, and offers educational programs to more than 710 students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes reading, writing, English, social studies, mathematics, science, computer application and technical and business education, history, language arts and foreign language. In addition, it offers driver s education and agricultural studies. Its in-house publications include Herrinite yearbook and Tiger Tattler. It includes Herrin High Teenage Republicans club and international high school program. The school also provides job assistance to its graduates. It offers various athletic programs, including sports, such as football, cross country, golf, volleyball, drill team, cheerleading, bowling, baseball, track and wrestling. It organizes various events for its students, such as sports tournaments and scouts, band, rotary speech competition and education fair. Herrin High School is located in Herrin, Ill.
