Haunted Hometowns Corporation began in 2004 when founder Diane Ladley became disabled, could no longer work a regular job, and had to get creative to earn money. She started trolley ghost tours of Naperville, then branched out into ghost walk tours, turning her physical therapy into income. Eventually she branched into her current hometown, Aurora, researching its incredibly fascinating haunted history, Depression-era gangster lore and sub-urban legends.
