HistorySean McMahon has been teaching on the North Shore and in the Chicago area for almost 30 years. He holds a BA in Music Performance from Columbia College Chicago, where he specialized in classical and jazz guitar. His life as an artist began more than thirty years ago, and his talent as a performer has taken him across continents. He offers in-home lessons for all levels, ages, and styles of guitar and plucked string instruments, focusing on building strong fundamentals of instrument learning. He believes in customizing lesson plans to meet the needs, goals, and interests of each student.
