Boats, RVs, truck accessories and … sleeper holds? Four Acres seems to offer a little bit of everything and even some history. The company was established by Ralph Bartleman, a gold-medal-winning wrestler for the 1956 U.S. Olympic team. Following his Olympic success, he began "professional show wrestling" as Black Bart. He invented the "sleeper hold," a wrestling tactic still used today. Bartleman even played Mr. Clean in TV advertisements. In addition to these endeavors, Bartleman began Four Acres in the 1970s. Today, the business is run by his son Dan and his family. Four Acres specializes in products such as trailer hitches, truck caps, bed liners and custom truck accessories, and services such as RV/boat storage, gas fillings and trailer repairs and maintenance.
