Evergreen Park Presbyterian Church was incorporated in 1947 after being a mission church for a year, and has been at its present location since 1967. Current Pastor Muriel Miller leads the congregation and encourages members to be active and fellowship in the community and church activities. The church mission statement expresses that "fellowship with Christ is the primary relationship of life."
Sitting at the intersection of 89th Street and Francisco Avenue, Evergreen Park Presbyterian Church has a Memorial Garden on the north side of the building, where members and village residents are welcome to sit and reflect. Each stone is in memory of a passed member.
Members of the congregation have the chance to participate in Sunday School, Sunday Fellowship with the Deacons, the Celtic Choir, Women's Association, Book Club and several seasonal activities. The church opens its doors to the community, serving as a training area for Boy Scout leaders among other activities.
