Eli's Cheesecake's story began in 1940 when Eli Schulman opened his first Chicago restaurant. Forty years later, he declared cheesecake as his restaurant's signature dessert. His Chicago-style Cheesecake is known for its beautiful caramelization outside, rich creamy inside, and all-butter shortbread cookie crust.
Today we proudly carry on his tradition by baking up dozens of handmade gourmet desserts in Chicago at our family-owned bakery, cafe, and retail store on Chicago's Northwest Side.
