Dunlap High School, established in 1976, offers education to students in grades nine through 12. It has an enrollment of more than 800 students and is affiliated with the Dunlap Community Unit School District. The school s curriculum includes English, technical and business education, mathematics, social studies, science, foreign languages, computers and physical education. It provides various extracurricular activities to students, including arts, music, dramatics, chorus, debate contests, jazz and marching bands, French and German clubs, literary magazine, the National Honor Society, science fairs, student council, science Olympiad and chess club. The amenities offered by the school include a gymnasium and fitness center, auditorium, library, media center, cafeteria, and technology and computer laboratories. The various sports activities offered by the school include baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, field hockey, football, golf, softball, soccer, swimming, tennis, wrestling, volleyball and track and field.
