DeKalb High School is a public, four-year, coeducational high school that serves more than 1,700 students and offers a variety of advance placement, honors and vocational courses. Located in De Kalb, Ill., the high school offers Spanish, French and advanced placement courses in art, biology, calculus, European history, U.S. government, chemistry and humanities. The high school is operated by the De Kalb School District and provides various athletic activities, including track, soccer, softball, badminton, baseball, tennis, basketball, cheerleading, wrestling, bowling, cross country, golf, football, swimming and volleyball. It offers various clubs and activities, such as cheerleaders, chess and Spanish clubs, junior engineering technical society, the National Honor Society, concerts, plays, musical performances, dances and social events.
