On land once owned by a German immigrant family as far back as 1836, Conrad Fischer Park is nestled between Conrad Fischer Elementary School and Churchville Middle School, on the far north end of Elmhurst. The park includes several ball diamonds, a soccer field, tennis court and a roller hockey court. The park was completed in 1972, and redeveloped in 2000 with ADA accessible playground equipment for tots ages two to five. A pathway through the park links the neighborhood to the schools.
