We were at Mattheson State Park and Starved Rock and worker said this state park had 2 Buffalo. Say no more! Tatanka and Bison are so beautiful. There is really nothing here other than 2 Bison....

Good spot to get a nice view of the Illinois River with hiking trails and picnic tables as well as restrooms. Just across from Starved Rock State Park.
