BP Pipelines (North America) is the second largest liquids pipeline company in the United States, transporting more than 450 million barrel-miles of oil, refined products, natural gas liquids, carbon dioxide and chemicals daily. This accounts for nearly 10 percent of the U.S. liquids pipeline market. Beyond its core operations, BP Pipeline participates in various joint-venture pipelines. Its core and joint venture operations span nearly 30 states and are managed in Chicago, Cleveland, Denver, Houston and Midland, Texas, with the pipeline control center located in Tulsa, Okla. BP Pipelines is headquartered in Warrenville, Ill., where it is a part of the Downstream Logistics and Trading and Marketing Group for BP. The company has a branch location in Warrenville, Ill., where it employs nearly 150 people.
