Originally known as Bible View Christian Academy, the school underwent a name change first to Bible Baptist Christian Academy before becoming Romeoville Christian Academy in 2008. School Administrator Brian Keith said the new name better reflects the school's mission to be inclusive and serve the entire Romeoville community. After closing in 2002, the school's high school program was revived in 2009 and is seeing enrollment growth across all grade levels, Keith said. The academy offers athletics for second- through 12-graders as a member of the Illinois Association of Christian Schools as well as band, orchestra and choir. This year, the campus introduced its Romeoville Academy of Fine Arts, offering after-school music education and the Young Rembrandts art program. Romeoville Christian Academy is a ministry of Bible Baptist Church.
