This 7-Eleven on Main and Elm has been a convenience store for the Five Corners area for decades. It was converted to a 7-Eleven after 7-Eleven Inc. bought out Chicagoland's White Hen Pantry stores, though this 7-Eleven is a franchise and independently owned. This 7-Eleven has everything you would expect a convenience store to have: drinks, snacks, sandwiches, magazines and newspapers. It also has items which one might not expect, like pre-owned Sony PlayStation games, Chicago Cubs and Sox baseballs and throwback toy cap guns. The store has a Slurpee station with six flavors, which on a recent day included sugar-free, Crystal Light strawberry banana and Fanta blue raspberry.
