Calumet Park Map
Calumet Park (formerly DeYoung) is a village in Cook County, Illinois. The population was 8,516 at the 2000 census.
On May 13, 2010 Mayor Joseph DuPar and the Village Board approved renaming 127th Street as Obama Drive, in honor of the 44th President of the United States. On August 21, 2010 State Senator Emil Jones, III will read a proclamation of the Illinois Senate in honor of the dedication on the same date. This road became the first Obama Drive in the country and the first road named after the President in President Obama's home state of Illinois.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.1 square miles (3.0 km²), of which, 1.1 square miles (2.9 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (3.48%) is water.
