Nearly a third of the United States potatoes are produced in Idaho from locations such as Wada Farms Potatoes. The area s mineral-rich soil, sunshine, clear water, clean air and average 125-day growing season transform the Russet potato into a potato with distinctive characteristics. Wada Farms works closely with industry and university specialists to improve its seed selection, growing, harvesting and storage programs. The farm was established more than 60 years ago. It owns and operates potato storage buildings with a capacity for more than 500 million pounds of potatoes. Wada Farms Potatoes is located in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
