Covering over 60 square miles in Boundary County, including north and west of Bonners Ferry and west of Moyie Springs, their mission is to preserve life and property, promote public safety, and foster economic growth through leadership, management, and actions as an all-risk life safety response provider.
With an explosion in residential and commercial growth, the North Bench Fire District is the fastest-growing district in Boundary County. However, the decline in volunteers nationally has affected their resources, making the need for volunteers at all levels, including firefighters, support, and auxiliary, more crucial than ever. Their dedication to the community and commitment to service is driven by the belief that small pieces of time can make a huge difference in someone's life.
