Lady tarantula. She will grow to the size of a dinner plate.

Not something I would let crawl on my head. Ha ha. But it was an experience for sure for her as mom stood far away.

Idaho Reptile Zoo is a federal and state recognized 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to education through interaction.We are home to more than 200 animals at any given time at our rescue and education center, and provide permanent homes to rescues and rehabilitation animals alike. We are located in Boise, Idaho and offer educational outreach programs throughout the Treasure Valley.

My family loves lizards, fish, turtles, & snakes. This place has it all & my granddaughter loves to hold the snakes & feed the turtles. They also have an adoption center.

Great little spot to see all sorts of reptiles up close and personal. Everyone was helpful and kids get a chance to feed turtles and tortoises during their visit. Great price too!
