Discovery Elementary is a learning center that provides a variety of educational opportunities to students in kindergarten through grade five. The school has an enrollment of more than 570 students. Its educational programs include instruction in language arts, reading and math. Discovery Elementary maintains a parent-teacher association that serves as a resource for students, parents and staff. It also offers classes in music and physical and health education. The school provides a range of nutritional and speech therapy services. Discovery Elementary maintains a library, as well as organizes various extracurricular activities. It is a part of Joint School District 2, which governs several elementary, middle and high schools, as well as technical centers.
