History
Boise GreenBike was established as a service of Valley Regional Transit in April of 2015 with 114 bikes at 15 station hubs. It has now grown to include dozens of 'Flex Hubs,' ordinary bike racks where the bikes can be locked without a penalty. The system will continue to grow from its core service area of downtown and Boise State University.

Boise GreenBike is the bike share program for downtown Boise and Boise State. There are bikes and station hubs located all over the City of Trees. Boise GreenBike is the environmentally friendly and healthy way to see Boise.
