History
I received a bachelor's degree in Family Life from Brigham Young University where I studied child development, psychology, family finance, marriage enhancement, and family law. I worked in adoption until I had my first child. I have been blessed with six beautiful children. When my oldest was 6 and I had a 4 and 2 year old, I found out I was pregnant with twins. That changed my world for many years. Almost ten years later in 2009, my youngest started school and I realized that I needed to fill my new free time with something I loved. It was then that I became a Certified Postpartum Doula. I then expanded my training as a Certified Lactation Educator, and a Certified Infant Massage Instructor. In 2017 I became a Certified Lactation Consultant. I am also a La Leche League Leader. My passion is to educate, nurture, and support women through their postpartum time helping to make it more joyous. I want to share what I wish I had known as a new mom.
