YMCA of Honolulu is one of the largest nonprofit organizations in the United States. YMCA serves more than 16 million people annually. Located in Honolulu, it operates more than 10 branches, including a resident camp and retreat, health and social service center. YMCA offers a wide variety of programs, such as child care services in more than 40 public elementary schools, swimming and water activities, certified lifeguards, health and fitness classes, aerobics, sculpt, yoga, Pilates and spinning programs, and strength training. The organization also provides fitness assessments and personal training, youth camps for more than 12,000 children, teen leadership programs, youth legislature, club mid, the Hiroshima teen exchange, and counseling programs. Additionally, it offers dance and music classes, marital arts, aikido, escrima, judo and karate classes, sports training, and driver education course.
