The Women's Community Correctional Center, also known as WCCC, is operated by the government of the state of Hawaii. The center is a women's prison that serves the needs of pre-trial and sentenced female offenders. It houses female offenders who are of maximum, medium and minimum custody levels. The center is a 50-plus-bed facility and administers various substance abuse prevention programs. The Women's Community Correctional Center offers a range of parenting and educational classes. It also operates several domestic violence treatment, day reporting and electronic monitoring programs. In addition, the Women's Community Correctional Center administers the Project Bridge, which assists female offenders with transitioning back to society.
