Halla Huhm Studio is the sole continuous provider of Korean dance and music in Hawaii, having been established in 1950 by Halla Pai Huhm herself. Over the years, the studio has welcomed students of various backgrounds, ages, and nationalities, offering instruction from esteemed visiting instructors and renowned performers from Korea.
Following the passing of Halla Huhm in 1994, Mary Jo Freshley Myung Sa Pai took over as director and main teacher, ensuring the preservation of Korean music and dance traditions. The studio remains dedicated to upholding Halla Huhm's legacy and supporting a wide range of Korean dance and music activities.
