Specialties
Zhong Xin Dao - I Liq Chuan is a chinese internal martial art based on Tai Chi and Zen principles. While its movements resemble Taijiquan (Tai Chi Chuan), Baguazhang (Pakua Chang), Xingyiquan (Hsing-I Chuan), it has a unique and effective pedagogy and training curriculum based on the integration of mindfulness meditation with physical body mechanics. In particular, spinning hands and sticky hands are two person training exercises (somewhat similar, yet different from Tai Chi Chuan Push Hands) that are used to train not only structural alignment, but engagement qualities with the opponent at both the physical and mental level.
