Honolulu Waldorf School, founded in 1961, provides educational programs to students from grades kindergarten through 12. Its curriculum includes English, history, science, geography, arithmetic, algebra, geometry and social studies. It also offers foreign languages, such as Japanese and German, and provides various extracurricular activities, including music, painting, figure drawing, coppercraft, eurhythmy, speech, drama, games and physical education. The school organizes summer fun activities for students, such as swimming tournaments, water play tours and food auctions. Honolulu Waldorf School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America and is a member of Hawaii Association of Independent Schools.
