Cortney Chesnut was an event planner in California and moved to Hawaii in 2011. During her first year in Honolulu she worked for Kahala Hotel and Resort then moved on to work for Current Affairs Event Firm and Southern Wine and Spirits. While she dreamed of re-igniting Cortney Crane Events the moment she stepped foot in Hawaii she knew she would have to learn the island and event operations prior to re-starting her business. Now that she is acclimated and has decided to call Hawaii her permanent home she has finally taken that next step and launched her own boutique event planning and design firm in January, 2015.
