Highland Rivers Center provides a range of health care services for individuals who suffer from mental illnesses, developmental disabilities and addictive diseases. It offers nursing, rehabilitative, transportation and support services. The center is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. The Highland Rivers Center provides several crisis stabilization programs, as well as outpatient services for children, adolescents and adults. Additionally, the center offers temporary assistance for needy families and pregnant and postpartum women. It provides case management and child care services, as well as conducts HIV/AIDS tests. The center serves Whitfield, Murray, Floyd, Bartow, Polk and Pickens counties in Georgia. Highland Rivers Center maintains locations in Rome and Dalton, Ga.
