Cathedral of Faith Church of God In Christ celebrated 70 years in the fall of 2010. The church's vision is "to be a global ministry proclaiming the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed that souls may experience the saving power of God through Jesus Christ," according to the church's website. The church, led by Rev. Arthur F. Mosley, got its start in 1940 on Simpson Road. In 1972, it dedicated its current location on Avon Avenue.
