The University of Georgia is a state-chartered university that offers a range of associate, bachelor, master and professional degree programs. The college has an annual enrollment of more than 25,000 undergraduate and over 8,500 graduate students and has a staff of nearly 2,900 faculty members. It offers courses in agricultural and environmental sciences, arts, business, education, environment and design, forest resources, law, pharmacy and public health. The college also offers study programs in family and consumer sciences, journalism and mass communication, public and international affairs, social work and veterinary medicine.
