History
AIS was founded in 1998 in New York City by the late Catherine Otto Montgomery. The Atlanta office of the American Institute for Stuttering was founded in 2016 and is now called The Arthur M. Blank Center for Stuttering Therapy. We offer evaluation and treatment services to people of all ages who stutter, clutter, or otherwise struggle with speech fluency.
