Strong Rock Camp and Retreat is a co-ed sleep-away camp located in the picturesque mountains of North Georgia. With a focus on Christian values and personal growth, campers from 1st to 11th grade have the opportunity to experience adventure, build lifelong friendships, and discover their true selves in a safe and supportive environment.

At Strong Rock, every child is known and valued by their counselors, who take the time to understand their individual strengths, weaknesses, and passions. Attended this campground for a Christian retreat and the food was bad. The bathroom had the dirtiest shower curtain liner. Looks like they never changed the it ever. Wouldn't attend again.

Camp Barney Medintz

Camp Barney Medintz provides a range of opportunities for various entertainment and recreational activities. The camp spreads across an area of more than 500 acres. It features the Alterman Lodge Dining Hall, which covers an area of over 17,000 square feet. The camp also includes the Brill Equestrian Center and the Halpern Center Gymnasium and Amphitheater. It features a nature and reptile center and tennis courts. Camp Barney Medintz In addition, Camp Barney Medintz maintains a swimming pool, dance studio and water ski docks. Its infirmary spreads across an area of nearly 5,000 square feet. Camp Barney Medintz is a part of the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta.

Camp Coleman

The dining hall in Camp Coleman s Chadar Ochel seats 700. In addition to the dining hall and cabins, Camp Coleman facilities include four recreation centers, an athletic complex, tennis courts, a roller hockey rink, a large swimming pool, a lake, a playground, five shelters for smaller group activities, high and low ropes courses, faculty hotel and a camper's lounge. The entire Camp Coleman family eats together in an air-conditioned building. The organization s full-service kitchen is named in honor of Nellie Ward, who has served the Camp Coleman community for more than 20 years. With sessions that range 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks, Camp Coleman s summer office is located in Cleveland, Ga., its winter offices are located in Atlanta.
