Sisters Hot Wings is a small but popular walk-up food joint for the Donald Lee Hollowell community. The owner, originally from South Korea, says to just call her "Sister." She has been in the United States since 1980 and opened Sisters Hot Wings in 1996. The name comes from a sense that everyone in the community shares a family, we're all sisters and brothers. During the day there is often a gathering of people outside the walk-up window, just talking or waiting on an order. One woman says kids love her food, and everything she makes is great quality. One benefit is that customers can call in an order for pickup. Meals generally take about 10 minutes to prepare, and include a variety of styles from teriyaki chicken to cheeseburgers.
