The Educational Psychology and Instructional Technology Department, formerly known as the Education Psychology Department was established in 2005. It is a part of the University of Georgia, which offers bachelor s, master's, doctoral and professional degrees in various subjects, including arts, humanities, social sciences, biological sciences, physical sciences, agricultural and environmental sciences, social work and veterinary medicine. The Educational Psychology and Instructional Technology Department offers undergraduate, graduate and post graduate programs in education, technology and arts. Additionally, it offers doctorate degrees and programs in general educational and school psychology, gifted education, and research, evaluation, measurement, and statistics. The department offers programs in school library media, applied cognition and development, instructional design and development, and training and technology. It maintains a psychology clinic, academic computing center and center for assessment and is located in Athens, Ga.
