Regional Youth Detention Centers is a part of the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, which offers a range of supervision, detention, delinquency prevention, treatment and educational services for at-risk youths in collaboration with public, private and community entities. The department maintains a work force of more than 5,000 employees. The Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice serves over 52,000 youths annually.
