Tanner Employee Assistance Program is a division of Tanner Health System, located in Carrollton, Ga. TEAP is designed to improve job performance by assisting individuals with personal problems, including family issues, financial problems, job stress, alcohol and drug problems and traumatic events. The Tanner Employee Assistance Program provides up to 5 free sessions for assessment and short-term problem resolution for employees and for each of the employee's dependents. If more sessions are needed or if the problems are such that other professionals should be consulted, referrals are made that assist in finding the right person to talk to. In most cases the employee's health insurance will assist with the payment of any additional costs.
