Located in Warner Robbins, Ga., Northside Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. It is a part of Houston County Schools. The school is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and meets all standards established by the Georgia Department of Education. It has a staff of professional teachers; support personnel, including aides; custodians; and a secretary. Northside Middle School organizes a range of special activities, including band and choir. It also operates the National Junior Honor Society. The school offers a variety of sports activities, such as softball, baseball, volleyball, basketball and football. In addition, it offers a range of special programs, including special education, after-school tutoring, community outreach and seventh-grade community outreach. In addition, Northside Middle School is home to the Visual and Performing Arts Optional Magnet Program, which provides performing arts classes in dance, theater arts, band, chorus and orchestra, as well as visual arts classes that include drawing, painting and sculpturing.
