Jehovah's Witnesses is a Christian denomination far removed from mainstream Christianity. Although it bases its beliefs on the Bible, it adopted its own translation, the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. Its central belief entails the imminent destruction of the earth through divine intervention, the sequence of events of which has already begun. This Kingdom Hall is just up the street from another Hall that serves the East Lake and Edgewood congregations. It serves the Candler, Columbia and East French congregations.
