Neriah Church, formerly known as Neriah Baptist Church, has a rich history dating back to its organization years before its recorded history in 1923. Under the leadership of Rev. R.N. Martin, who served as Pastor for an impressive 56 years, the church relocated to East Point, GA in 1952. In 1997, Albert J. Lindsey, Jr. became the seventh pastor, and the church experienced significant growth, leading to the acquisition of a small sanctuary and over 18 acres of land in Union City, GA in 2003.
Driven by a desire to pursue God and remove man's focus from denominationalism, Servant Pastor Lindsey changed the church's name to Neriah Church in 2004. With a belief in the limitless possibilities that God has prepared for them, Neriah Church invites individuals to worship with them on Sundays at 9:30 am and grow together through their Wednesday Evening Midweek Manna gatherings at 6:30 pm.
