Mulberry Elementary School opened its doors in 2007. Since that time, Mulberry students have made tremendous gains in literacy and math achievement. In 2010, the school received the Governor's Office of Student Achievement bronze award for highest achievement on the statewide CRCT (Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests). According to Principal Vivian Stranahan, Mulberry Elementary students are "learning and learning at a high level." Mulberry Elementary School's colors are hunter green, red and gold. The school mascot is a meerkat.
