Mountain View Personal Care Home is a non-profit charity organization that helps elderly residents throughout the local community by providing them with a residence and assisted living services. The community was established just after the Civil War, and is the last free-standing post-Civil War facility owned by a county government in the state of Georgia. All rooms are private and smoke-free. It serves three meals a day and personal care attendents are on duty 24/7. Mountain View is a member of Aging Services of Georgia, a state-wide mission dedicated to providing quality housing and care.
