Founded in 1997, Marshpoint Elementary School serves more than 850 students in prekindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as reading, writing, English, mathematics, social studies and science. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes various fundraising events. It is a full-inclusion school that provides a range of special education services. The school has two speech pathology teachers who provide collaborative and small group instruction. It additionally houses community-based preschool intervention speech and educational programs. The school is a part of Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools and is located in Savannah, Ga.
