History
I have been in private practice in Decatur, GA, since 1993 providing individual, adolescent, couples and family psychotherapy. My therapeutic orientation represents a holistic integration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic Psychology, Attachment Theory and Transpersonal Psychology. I have also been a a clinical supervisor for new clinicians since 1995. I earned my undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University in Social Work and a masters degree in Transpersonal Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. As a meditator for 25 years, I have a special interest in the integration of psychotherapy, mindfulness and spirituality. From 2003 to 2010, I was a board member of the Society for the Integration of Spirituality and Psychotherapy, a professional organization exploring the common boundary between psychological healing and spiritual growth.
