Based in Kennesaw, Ga., Lost Mountain Middle School offers a curriculum for students in grades six through eight. It has an enrollment of more than 1,300 students and is affiliated with the Cobb County School District. The school provides a wide range of subjects, including English, language arts, science, mathematics, social studies, foreign language, computer technology, and health and physical education. In addition, it offers arts, keyboarding, music appreciation, orchestra, chorus, and speech and drama. The school also has various clubs and organizations that include academic bowl, beta, craft, French and renaissance clubs, jazz band, flute choir, the Future Business Leaders of America and news team. Lost Mountain Middle School has a parent-teacher student association that offers counseling service to monitor the overall upbringing of the children.
