The Lilburn Municipal Court, located in the police department wing of the Calvin Fitchett Municipal Center, hears cases the first two Tuesdays of each month at 9am and the second two Tuesdays at 3:30pm. Most of the cases are traffic-related, from speeding to DUI.
The judge is Charles Barrett III, solicitor is Jeffrey Kwiatkowski and court clerks are Terese Stults and Kathleen Rault (assistant).
Many traffic violations are non-mandatory court appearances, unless you want to enter a plea other than guilty. Pay fines at the Court Clerk's Office or online with a credit card.
Failure to appear for cases will result in a bench warrant. Defendants are allowed one continuance if they are unable to appear on the scheduled court date.
