The Gwinnett Justice and Administration Building houses many of the departments for Gwinnett County. The Administrative Office of the Courts handles all administrative issues related to the courts in the county.
The Office of the District Attorney provides prosecution services for the citizens of the county. It is divided into three divisions: The Trial Division, The Criminal Investigation Division and The Victim-Witness Unit.
The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners formulates policy, sets the government's budget and votes to approve certain actions. Voters in the county elect a full-time chairman and part-time district commissioners from each of the four voting districts. Board meetings are held the first and third Tuesday of every month at 2pm.
Gwinnett County Information Technology maintains and protects the county's IT assets from cyber threats and explores ways to build the infrastructure to prepare Gwinnett County for the future.
