Fire Station No. 2 is one of 30 stations run by the Gwinnett County Department of Fire and Emergency Services, the largest fire service district in the state. Gwinnett Fire includes 850 firefighters serving the county's 800,000 residents. The department answers 65,000 calls each year. For a map of Gwinnett Fire Stations, click here. The station is located on Harmony Grove Road just south of Lawrenceville Highway (U.S.) and is one of three stations servicing the Lilburn area. Eighteen firefighters, working in 24-hour shifts of six, man the station. It has one fire engine and a life-support medical unit.
