Starting in 1998 the company was awarded its first contract working on various construction projects for the United States Army. Green Heart has performed hundreds of successful projects in the past, almost 20 years. The majority of these projects were at Fort McPherson and Fort Gillem. The in time between 1998 and 2010, Green Heart has had approximately 8-10 employees and concentrated on the Army contracts as well as other commercial clients such as MARTA, Hospitals, City of East Point and the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration). Project cost ranged from $5,00.00 to $2,000,000.00. In 2010 Green Heart began to change its primary from Army projects to Aviation projects.
